Real Madrid we’re held to their second stale mate in their last five La Liga games by an outstanding Elche side today. The first period ended in a goalless draw while the second has saw a rush of goals leaving the fans breathless.
Elche took the lead twice, first through Alex Febas and then through substitute Alvaro Rodriguez. Meanwhile, Madrid who trailed twice were able to level through the efforts of Dean Huijsen and Jude Bellingham.

Elche’s standout display was Febas’ chance which was well taken, and their bench had a major say as Neto came on to provide and assist while Alvaro Rodriguez finished for 2-1. Mir sustained the attack and was close to converting again in stoppage time.
For the visitors, Bellingham delivered a goal and an assist while Mbappé posed a constant threat with a late setup. One key moment of the game was Huijsen’s equaliser which showed Madrid’s set-piece prowess. Rafa Mir hit the target twice (17’, 29’) and Andre Silva forced a save in the 38’ as Mbappé and Rodrygo kept the Elche defense occupied through the first half.

Elche then responded with a substitution which held the game till the 84th minute when Rodriguez put the hosts in front. Then Madrid clinched back an equalizer through Bellingham in the 87th minute to end the game 2-2.
