Later tonight Huddersfield will welcome Premier League side at the Accu Stadium for their third round clash of the Carabao Cup. The game is set for kick off by 19:45pm.
The two English sides have met a total of 13 times with Huddersfield winning only two of those fixtures, losing six and coming away with five draws. The host have not won a game in their last five encounters with their best performance being an away draw at the Etihad stadium in May 2018. Meanwhile the hosts have not lost in any of their last 7 home matches.
On the other hand City who had a rough start to this season’s Premiership campaign are yet to lose a game after two consecutive loses to Tottenham and Brighton. They hope to maintain their no loss streak going into the game.

In a preview interview club manager to the host side Lee Grant shared his view on the game saying they will be without Herby for a significant period while Ruben who sustained a nasty cut to his forehead may be available for the as he didn’t sustain any concussion.
He also added that they’ve had some opportunity to put some energy ahead of the challenge saying they are excited and hope for a special night.

Forward Alfie May speaking on their season so far and the City clash, “we’re trying to stay positive, that’s what we can do at this point in time. I don’t think it’s a bad start, you see a lot of people online, on Social media having their rants and this and that. That’s what they’re there to do.
“We just know that we stick together, we’ve got an unbelievable squad, the staff are superb they support us well and down to the details when we’re going into games.”
Speaking on their performance against Birmingham last year he explained that It was a new squad at Birmingham and it’s a new squad here so they have to bond quickly if they are to stand a chance against one of the best teams in the world tonight.
