There has always been a secret debate between attackers and defenders, and which role was more vital to a team. The age old question of who is better will finally be answered on September 13/14, as two star-studded teams will go head-to-head in South Korea.
The team of attackers referred to as “FC Spear” will face the squad of defenders called “Shield Utd”.
On FC Spear we have the likes of Didier Drogba, Ji Sung Park, Thierry Henry, Ronaldinho, Steven Gerrard, Kaká, Gareth Bale, Wayne Rooney, Frank Ribéry, Eden Hazard, Clarence Seedorf, Schweinsteiger, Kihyeon Seol, Jacheol Koo, Gianluigi Buffon and Bumyoung Lee. While on Shield Utd we have, Rio Ferdinand, Youngpyo Lee, Carles Puyol, Nemanja Vidic, John Arne Riise, Maicon, Ashley Cole, Makelele, Sol Campbell, Jooho Park, Gilberto Silva, Marchisio, Michael Carrick, Alessandro Nesta, Iker Casillas and Youngk Wang Kim.

Both teams will take to the field in what is set to be a clash of the ages. Fans in South Korea will have the opportunity to see many football legends in one place. The teams will face off for a full length of 90 minutes. It promises to be a thrilling experience as game will feature about five Ballon d’Or winners, Seven top scorers and 18 Champions League winners between both teams. The outcome of this highly anticipated game has already stirred up debates among fans as the players shared their thoughts on the outcome of the game and the side with the upper hand.

With the Champions League just round the corner this event is turning out to add more flare to the delight of football lovers and with so many stars in attendance it is a must watch for all football fans. In their last encounter in October 2024, the defensive minded stars won 4 goals to 1. Despite unconventional formations, Yaya Toure and Clarence Seedorf struck first within the first 18 minutes of the game giving Shield Utd a 2 goal lead. Later in the second half, Park Joo-ho and Javier Mascherano extended their lead to 4 goals bringing the tally to 4-0.
With just a few minute to the end of the game, Park Ji-sung was able to pull one back for FC Spear making the game 4-1.
After the game, the players reminisced on the game with joy and fondness and they hope to reinvent this camaraderie again this September.
