Bundesliga Champions, Bayern Munich thrashed Werder Bremen 4-0 at the Allianz Arena to extend their perfect start to the 2025/26 campaign, making it 5 wins out of 5 league games.
Jonathan Tah opened the scoring in the 22nd minute from a decisive assist from Michael Olise. Harry Kane converted from the spot shortly before half-time, before completing a double in the 65th minute.
Konrad Laimer wrapped up the game in the 87th minute, adding pains to the already overwhelmed visitors.
The win extended Bayern’s lead at the top of the summit, with 5 points ahead of second-placed, Borussia Dortmund who will visit Mainz tomorrow Saturday, September 27, at the Mewa Arena.
Kane’s Milestone
Despite the emphatic win, English Forward, Harry Kane stole the show with his brace. In scoring his second goal of the game, Kane reached a great milestone, scoring his 100th goal for the German giant.

With the milestone, he established a new record, becoming the fastest player from Europe’s top five leagues to reach 100 goals for a club in the 21st Century.
The 32-year-old achieved the feat in 104 games, surpassing the record of Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland (both in 105 games).
Bayern Munich’s acquisition of Harry Kane back in 2023 was one of great moves in the club’s history. He has already established himself as one of the legends of the club. The England captain has scored 15 goals in eight games this season.

Speculation has resurfaced around Kane’s contract at Bayern, with reports suggesting a €65 million (£55m/$71m) release clause could allow him to leave in 2026.
