FC Barcelona will host Getafe later tonight for their fifth game this season. The Catalans who are only one of two teams who remain unbeaten in the Spanish league with 10 points in second place, will hope to extend their streak to match up Real Madrid’s five games unbeaten run so far.
FC Barcelona are yet to lose their last 20 home games against Getafe in La Liga a feat they have only accumulated more against Elche in the competition’s history. On top of that, they have kept a clean sheet in their last three home games against Getafe whilst winning all three and could equal their home clean sheet run in the competition of four clean sheets since 2015 and 2019 seasons. They have also scored in all their last 24 La Liga matches including all their games in the La Liga 2025 season a total of 64 which is just 2 games less than Bayern’s record of 66.
Meanwhile, Getafe have been able to keep their heads above water picking up five points in their last 10 La Liga matches against Barcelona. So far they have earned nine points in this season’s campaign, their highest tally after their first four games of a season in their history of top flight football.
