Real Madrid did not just beat Racing Santander on Sunday, November 1. They flattened them before most fans had finished their first coffee. The 3-0 win at El Sardinero was wrapped up before half-time, courtesy of goals from Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham and Yan Diomande.
Real Madrid vs Racing Santander: How the Goals Arrived

It started with a penalty. Mbappé scored from the spot in the 11th minute, his fifth goal in three games.

Ten minutes later Arda Güler played a gorgeous pass, and Bellingham rounded the onrushing keeper and slotted into an empty net.

Then came the highlight. Diomande scored in the 36th minute with a screamer. The Ivorian hit the half-volley first time from a poor Racing clearance and found the top left corner. It was a goal worth the ticket price on its own.
Bellingham Reaches 50 Real Madrid Goals

The second goal had extra meaning. It was Bellingham’s first goal since September and his 50th for the club. He reached the milestone in 154 games, becoming the 50th player to hit that mark for Madrid. TNT Sports even noted he passed Zinedine Zidane’s tally.
Mbappé’s Penalty Perfection

Mbappé keeps adding to his collection. He has now scored against every La Liga team he has faced, and he has converted 18 league penalties since joining Madrid. He also hit the post after a fine run in the second half.
The Mourinho Effect Is Real
Six straight wins across all competitions is no accident. That run includes a 4-3 win over Roma, a 4-1 win at Leipzig and a 2-1 win over Barcelona, with 18 goals scored and six conceded. José Mourinho praised his forwards for their hard defensive work, saying it sends a strong message to the rest of the team. Vinícius Júnior missed the game through suspension, and Madrid barely noticed.

It was not perfect. Racing improved after the break, and top scorer Yassir Zabiri missed two decent chances. Bellingham also had a late goal ruled out for offside. Still, the win ended Racing’s unbeaten run at home.
La Liga Title Race: Where Madrid Stand

Madrid remain third, one point behind Atlético Madrid and three behind Barcelona. They have 27 points from 11 games. That gap could shrink quickly. Barcelona face Atlético at the Metropolitano next weekend, the same weekend Madrid go to Valencia.
What’s Next for Real Madrid

The schedule is busy. Madrid face AEK Athens in the Champions League first, then visit Valencia in their last game before the international break. That match is on Saturday, November 7. Valencia away is never easy, so Madrid will need the same sharp start.

If this form holds, Los Blancos will be the team nobody wants to face in the title race. Keep following our La Liga coverage for results, analysis and reaction.
