Marseille clinched all three points in the 6th round of the French Ligue 1 fixture against Strasbourg through defender Michael Amir Murillo. They have now won six games after conceding the first goal in Ligue 1 since the start of last season, which is more than any other team. Conversely, Strasbourg all rank the highest in losses on these conditions.
On the other hand, Strasbourg have now lost four of their last eight games in the Ligue 1, while winning the other four, after avoiding defeat in each of the previous twelve.
Match Overview
Strasbourg opened scoring just four minutes into the second half when Abdoul Ouattara found the back of the net but was initially disallowed for an offside in the buildup. After VAR review the referee awarded the goal.

Marseille took over the game, dominating and were able to level through substitute Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who got a rebound and sent the ball towards goalkeeper who was caught off guard as the ball sailed past him into the net.

The substitute almost got another one moments later from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg cross but his header came off the left post.
Strasbourg did almost go one up but Joaquin Panichelli’s effort was sent high over the bar.
However, defender Michael Murillo was able to grab the winner in the first minute of stoppage time when he got the end of a rebound on the edge of the box and sent it into the top right corner.

Fixture
Marseille who are now top on Ligue 1 standings with 12 points from six games will host Ajax at the Stade Vélodrome on Tuesday night for their second game of the UEFA Champions League tie while Strasbourg will head to the Tehelné pole for Conference League match with Slovan Bratislava on Thursday night.
