Current stance of Real Madrid

Real Madrid is always a powerhouse in the Champions League and with Mbappé on board may very just be on their way to claiming the title. Notwithstanding, they must watch out for teams like Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Liverpool, etc as they could surprise them. The Spanish giants were eliminated from the competition last season by Arsenal when they lost at the Bernabéu in the second leg of the quarter final. They have recently completed the signing of Gonzalo Garcia, Franco Mastantuono, Reinier, Alvaro Carreras, Alvaro Rodríguez, Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen, and currently boost of four solid goalkeepers, 15 defenders, 13 midfielders and 8 forwards on their squad. Head coach, Xabi Alonso will face French side, Marseille at the Bernabéu on the opening day of the tournament.
